Winterizing Your Fountain
Before the snow falls, don’t forget to winterize your fountain by following these 5 easy steps to insure a working fountain next Spring.
- Drain all water from the fountain.
- Wash the fountain with mild detergent and soft scrub brush; then rinse out.
- Remove small sections of the fountain and store in an area that won’t freeze.
- Remove PUMP, clean and store in a dry, freeze proof place.
- Any remaining large sections of the fountain should be covered with a waterproof tarp
and securely fastened at the bottom to prevent water from entering.
In the Spring, reassemble your fountain, fill with water and ENJOY!
Remember that all TERRA COTTA, (Clay Pots, etc.) need to be stored in a dry place. Our cold freezing winters will crack the clay. WROUGHT IRON and METAL fixtures such as Arbors, Fences, and Obelisk can be coated with Acrylic Spray or Linseed Oil to retard rust.
Instead of storing your HAYRACKS or TOPIARY, consider filling them with evergreen boughs adorned with Holly Branches, Pine Cones and a beautiful Velvet Bow. The greens last well past the Holidays, and as in the Spring, we will be happy to fill your Hayrack.

With lush and colorful plants to please the eye, and the peaceful sound of running water to soothe the ear, it is no wonder that water gardening continues to grow in popularity. What a relaxing atmosphere to come home to! By adding a water garden to your landscape you will be adding serenity to your busy life. The tranquil sounds, the beautiful water plants and colorful fish may be the perfect addition to your home. The growing popularity of water gardening has resulted in a large increase in the number of products available for the construction and maintenance of ponds. At Bremecs Pond Shop we grow our own water plants and sell only quality products from reputable suppliers.

Fundraising
We offer profitable, easily run fundraising programs for church groups, schools, gardening clubs, and any other organization that needs to raise money. Our spring fundraiser begins in January, when organizations can view our wholesale list of the homegrown flowers we offer. This simple program allows the organizations to customize the order form. Customizing our order forms is easy. We give the basic wholesale price, while the organization adds the amount they would like to receive to that base price. All fundraisers are pre-order and pre-pay. We deliver all orders to the organization, for easy pick-up by the purchaser.
